Originally from Japan, Natsuko Mineghishi has lived in Tokyo, Perth, Melbourne and Amsterdam before coming back to Melbourne. She has her Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours and Master of Music from the University of Melbourne. During her studies, Natsuko appeared in the Port Fairy Spring music Festival and her voice was broadcasted and recorded by ABC. She has received numerous scholarships and awards which enabled her  to study at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2003. In 2005, Natsuko had her final recital for her Master of Music in Contemporary Music through Non-Western Technique, where she resulted to be the recipient of the highest score in the course.

Natsuko is an active performer and she has been performing as a soloist as well as a singer in some ensembles. She has strong passion for chamber music and small theatrical works in particular. Since 2000, it has been her ambition to have concerts which introduce contemporary repertoires of Japanese Art Songs. One of her projects has been accepted by Het ConcertgebouwLunchtime Concert Series, where she had her solo recital in January 2005. 

Back in Australia, Natsuko had ran Japanese Art Song Concert Series atChapel off Chapel in Melbourne in 2007. The three concert series are supported by the City of Stonnington and her first DVD (2008) features these concert series.

Natsuko currently teaches singing at Caulfield Grammar School, Trinity Grammar School and at her home studio.

Outside of Music, Natsuko is a serious Karate practitioner. She began running her own Karate school in 2007 and most recently, she is currently the Australian National Champion of SKIF Senior Female Kata Category.
