He studied the oboe with Herman Erenhaus at the Lopez Buchardo Conservatoire, in Buenos
Aires. He continued his music studies in London, the oboe with John Anderson and chamber
music with Peter Thomas.

In Argentina he was first oboe with the Bahia Blanca Symphony Orchestra and the National
Radio Symphony Orchestra and in Spain, he plays as first oboe with the Madrid, RTVE,
Malaga, Cordoba and Murcia Symphony orchestras.

He has toured South America and Europe with chamber music groups and as a soloist with
symphony orchestras.

He regularly plays contemporary music with the Modern Ensemble and other groups in Spain,
Netherlands, and France. He has premiered several works for oboe.
Lezama also records regularly for RTV, National Ballet, as well as music written for film and

He teaches the oboe at the Madrid College of Creative Music.
